1. Who we are

Scinta ("Scinta", "we", "us") is a macOS application and related services operated by Anton Holub, individual entrepreneur (ФОП Голуб Антон Євгенійович), registered in Ukraine at 32 Shevchenka St., Apt. 10, Kremenchuk, Poltava region, 39600, Ukraine ("the seller"). By using Scinta, you are contracting with the seller. You can contact us at hello@scinta.app.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or continuing to use Scinta, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. The service

Scinta is a screenshot application for macOS that offers capture tools, on-device processing features, and AI-powered smart actions. Some features require an internet connection and are subject to usage limits depending on your plan, as described on our pricing page.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• use the service for fraud, spam, or deceptive practices;
• infringe the intellectual property rights of others;
• interfere with the security or operation of the service, including distributing malware, probing or scanning our systems, scraping, or attempting to bypass usage limits or access controls.

5. Intellectual property

The seller retains all ownership of and rights to the service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation, and branding. Your subscription or use of the free tier grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app; it does not transfer any ownership rights. Content you capture with Scinta remains yours.

6. Service level

We work hard to keep Scinta reliable, but the service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and features that depend on third-party services (such as AI processing) may be temporarily unavailable.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to billing and handles returns. Terms relating to billing, renewals, cancellations, fees, payment, and taxes are set out in Paddle's buyer terms. Subscription prices and billing frequency are shown on our pricing page. Refunds are handled as described in our refund policy.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service in case of:

• material breach of these terms;
• non-payment of applicable fees;
• security or fraud risk; or
• repeated or serious violations of our policies.

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
